Watson Bryant led the formation of Stout Ventures and focuses on sourcing new acquisitions, as well as asset and portfolio management of Stout’s investments. Prior to the formation of Stout, Watson was a Vice Chairman and partner of the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group (“MAG”) within Cushman & Wakefield, an advisory practice serving an 11-state footprint in the Sun Belt that was responsible for over 40% of multifamily trading in the Southeast with annual sales volume of $15 Billion. As a senior leader of MAG, Watson led the sales process of over 200,000 apartment units. He holds a BBA in Real Estate from the University of Georgia and lives in Raleigh with his wife and two children.
Marc Robinson joined in the formation of Stout Ventures following six years as an Executive Vice Chairman and co-head of the national Multifamily Practice Group at Cushman & Wakefield. Marc became a part of Cushman & Wakefield following their acquisition of his firm, Multi Housing Advisors (MHA) in 2016. During his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, the Sunbelt MAG team led the sale of $44 Billion of multifamily assets. Marc’s focus at Stout is capital formation and multifamily development. Marc holds a BS from Virginia Tech and lives in Charlotte with his wife and three children.
Jimmy Adams joined in the formation of Stout following six years as an Executive Vice Chairman at Cushman & Wakefield. Jimmy brings over 20 years of capital markets experience to Stout as a results-driven, executive leader and investment professional. Jimmy’s focus at Stout is acquisitions and capital formation with an emphasis on the Gulf States region. Jimmy is recognized as one of the top multifamily investment professionals in the Southeast, having built the most successful advisory team in the Gulf States region’s history, with more than 500 direct transactions, totaling over 100,000 units with a value of over $8 billion. From 2019 to 2021 Jimmy served in the leadership role of Managing Partner of the Sunbelt Mag’s 95 professionals and overall business line serving the 11-state super-region. During this time, the team closed over 400 transactions per year, totaling $15B annually. Jimmy is frequently referenced in trade publications and industry journals. Jimmy holds a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University and resides in Birmingham with his wife and three children.
Tai Cohen joined in the formation of Stout bringing over 11 years of real estate experience to the firm. Prior to joining the Stout team, he led the South Carolina Multifamily Investment Sales Team at Cushman Wakefield with sales of over $10B. Tai’s focus at Stout includes acquisitions, equity relationships, and multifamily development. He holds a BA in Marketing and a minor in Spanish from the University of Georgia. Tai resides in Charleston, SC and enjoys spending his weekends on the water either boating or surfing.
